Need a recommendation for an alignment shop

Need a recommendation for an alignment shop

Postby CowsPatoot » Tue Aug 27, 2013 1:56 pm

I am completely redoing the suspension on the convertible, so I will need a full alignment. Any recommendations on where I should take it? I can trailer it there, but would like to stay in the Charlotte/Winston/Wilkesboro area.

Hey Gregg, what about Hickory? Several good shops around here.

Hickory would work...probably better than Winston or Charlotte. I just don't want to drive half way across the country for a simple alignment, so set those locations as a range. I often forget that there are things in other directions too.

Gregg, there is Dickinson Service Center on Hwy 127 south. Phone 828-294-4110. Also Town and Country Tire on Hwy 127 South phone 828-294-1888. Town and Country did mine and it drove great. I had new tires put on at Dickinson and they checked the alignment and the car drove the same. I don't think there is much difference in the two shops. I just get a better deal on tires at Dickinson because I have known the owner since he was in knee britches. If memory serves me right I think they both charge $65.00 but I could be wrong.
