welcome to the community Coop88. There is a lot here to read up on with all the builds going on and most important we take the time to always be respectful, freely sharing our knowledge gained. We get together as much as possible to have cook outs and maintenance parties.

Fort Mill! So you're about 15 minutes or so from where I'm working now, cool.

Thanks everyone. I'm looking forward to the trip up north, the parts look good.
This will get the car to the point where i can start rebuilding the interior. After reading about the 4.9 I think i'm still going with the 3800sc. It's a little more involved but for a promotion standpoint, I think it will work better.

I have been working on mine for 4 years now and its a wonderfully fun headache, a very lively car when it works right, but that's mostly my fault anyways. I don't have any numbers beyond stock engine with the 1/4 mile @ 13.01 and 107 mph and since my upgrades I have yet to keep it together long enough to dyno or track it. There is a large market for upgrades for the 3800 series II N/A and SC platforms. It is a rather simple install from fitment to the wiring harness and ECM programming. Check my build and feel free to ask I am all about preventing other people the headaches I suffered from.

Welcome to our little slice of heaven Coop88. I'm not too far from you myself. I live in Gastonia and my car is in Rock Hill... :? ... Bless her soul, she'll get going eventually.
