Stock vs ported mid-manifold

Custom CNC ported heads.
closer look
One of a kind custom headers
Stock/modified "Y" vs custom
The header's collectors are supported by a brace that is attached to the
transmission. This will prevent cracking of headers due to the weight of the "Y"
pipe.
WCF coil over in rear and #350 all around
Interior, will be gutted and re-done.
LeBaron front brake upgrade installed, rear will be done soon.
Not the prettiest to look at right now but it'll get there. As long as it
performs, that is all I care.
Stock 2.8 with 1.6 roller rockers and 3" exhaust. Stock manifold vs TPI Boom Box
So, as you can see this increase in plenum and TB size is not for stock engines.
Stock 2.8 with TPI Boom Box vs Built 2.9 with TPI Boom Box. Now look what happens when you match components.
If you look at the peak #'s only you'll be dissapointed, but pay attention at top end. At 6000rpm the 2.9 has 50whp advantage
It seems that the top end is endless.
Below is a dyno sheet a stock 4.9 V8 torque monster. Look at the WHP @ 6000rpm and compare it to mine. It did not post complete but it ends up with about 70whp@5200rpm.
The Mustang dyno reads about 10% lower than a Dynojet. So, right now I'm confident to say that it's putting 170whp. @ 6000rpm. I'm pretty sure I can squeeze 15-20whp with the right AFR, at the time of the dyno run it had an average of 10.2afr. And it sounds wicked

Look at the dyno sheet so you can see the improvement!
TR1=155whp
TR2=168whp
Here is a physical comparison between my tunnel ram and my latest creation.
Here it is installed
Dyno will be posted when tested.
