We are working on a prototype head with upgraded flow. Our CNC program for these heads proved to be a success in our 2.8 Fiero by squeezing 80+ whp with the right combination of heads, cam, intake and exhaust, but the majority of this power was due to the flow ability of the heads.
We are now combining this awesome flow with bigger valves! Stock valves sizes are 1.72 intake and 1.42 exhaust. The prototype heads will have custom made racing Stainless Steel lightweight valves, 1.85 intake and 1.50 exhaust.
After they are fitted they will be bench flowed on a 2.8 bore and a 3.4 bore before and after the CNC port work, that way if you have either or you will know how much it flows with your specific displacement.

how is the progress with the heads, have any more promising results yet and will this be a repeatable porting job with identical replication? For those interested what would the expected cost be (roughly)

Got the valves in and the heads are at the machine shop cutting the seats for the new valves.
Yes, these will be an identical porting job. That is why I let a computer do it.
Since the same head will flow different with a different bore diameter, if someone wants a set I have to know what engine is going onto 2.8 or 3.4.
Still working on the price.
